All the King’s Horses. The Equestrian Life of Elvis Presley.
Now From all the Kings Men to All the King’s Horses.
Last week it was 50 years ago that Elvis bought his ranch the Circle G and it’s his love for horses and horseriding that’s the subject of a new book: All the King’s Horses. The Equestrian Life of Elvis Presley.
The book is written by Kimberly Gatto and Victoria Racimo, with a foreword from Priscilla Presley.
In Priscilla’s words: “When Elvis Presley decided he wanted to buy a horse in 1966, he didn’t want just any horse, he wanted a Golden Palomino.”
“He would get up at 3:00 in the morning, go to certain farms and ranches and say, ‘Do you have a Golden Palomino for sale?’ People would say, ‘That was Elvis Presley!”
All the King’s Horses is released in August this year. This may be a bumper year for Elvis books.
