Elvis made his debut national television appearance on Stage Show in January 1956 and his six weekly appearances included classic performances of hits such as I Got A Woman, Shake Rattle and Roll, Blue Suede Shoes, Tutti Frutti and his first gold record Heartbreak Hotel.
